Experimenting With Fonts

Here i have experimented with some fonts to see which sort of style I may want for the mast head and the text within my magazine. I looked into some quite artistic fonts, such as graffiti and some three dimesional shapes. Graffiti is not just artwork for hip-hop and rap music any more, it is far more widely appreciated by many types of people and i think that it will give my magazine an original edge. I also looked into some digital and technologic fonts, as the name of the magazine is Output, so i could play on the term to help increase originality. I have not yet decided which font to use yet, however i will research into more fonts and use colours to see whether one font is outstandingly superior to the others.

  1. I think that idea to use a graffiti style font is a good one, as it is relevant to your genre. However, you need to make sure it is clear enough to read quickly, yet not too plain and boring. The 4th from the bottom, on the right hand side - I like. I feel it is modern and contemporary, but might not tie in with your 'graffiti' image. I also like 3rd from the bottom on the left, as it does not look like a traditional font - and therefore breaks conventions! Good luck you billy big blogger! :)
