Model Appearance
My magazine is aimed at the indie/alternative genre and i thought that in order to get my magazine exactly how i wanted it, i would like to use a colour scheme of purple, white and black. This not only follows the tricolour scheme convention of a magazine but also helps me to follow the simple format idea. I decided that in order to get the image just the way i wanted, i would have to design my own t-shirt for my model. I looked into images of girls who i wanted my model to look like and i found the following:
I like the hair on these models, despite not quite fitting the category of people i am aiming at. I like the poofed and back combed effect. I'd like my model to be wearing a pair of ripped leggings so that most of the focus is on the model's t-shirt.

When deciding on which t-shit for my model to wear, i wanted a black shirt but with an outstanding colour which would run throughout the magazine. I chose the colour purple, however i could not find anything with this on anywhere - so i designed my own. i used these images:

To create this on photoshop:
I have had this image printed onto a black vest top using a professional t-shirt printing company.
This will give my model the look i am trying to achieve.
The appearance of my model is largely influenced by this picture of Florence & The Machine. I wish my model to be doing a simlar pose, however, the hair will be larger and will look more 'roughed up'.
