Colour Schemes/Decision Of Fonts

I have looked at colour schemes and found quite sophisticated colours such as black and white with one contrasting colour in most of the pallettes, i very much like this idea and wish to use this idea within my magazine cover. Number 11 is ideal for me as i have created a t-shirt with this colour on and in order to achieve my simple imagery idea, i will have to use very simplistic colours. The purple offers contrast which would draw in the reader's eye, but the dark purple would still appeal to the boy side of the target market. Other colours such as blue and grey so would keep a sophisticated image. I also think grey, orange and white looks effective when used professionally, I will test many pallettes, although I think the purple will be my final choice unless another colour scheme works very well. I also like colour pallette no. 4 as it is offers and old fashioned/retro look and uses black and white imagery to gain interest. After my test shots, I will experiment with different colours and see which work with the image, fonts and layout i am trying to achieve.
